Injection molding is a process in which a molten plastic material is heated and then becomes a molten state. The molten plastic is injected into a pre-designed closed mold cavity by a pressure and a speed of an injection molding machine, and after cooling, the desired product is obtained. Then, the step of injection molding: the plastic pellet material is converted into a final plastic part by melting, ejecting, holding, cooling, etc. through an injection molding machine. Plastic materials can be classified into the heat characteristics of the resin. According to the characteristics of the resin when heated and cooled by plastic, it is divided into thermoplastic and thermosetting plastics.

Thermoplastics are characterized by softening of the plastic when heated and a viscous flow when the temperature rises to a certain value. When the temperature is lowered (generally referred to as room temperature) the plastic becomes hard. The heating can be softened again, hardened after cooling and can be repeated as many times. Common thermoplastics are: ABS plastic, polycarbonate (PC), polyoxymethylene (POM), polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA / plexiglass), olefin (PE), polystyrene (PS), polyvinyl chloride ABS, PC, and POM are commonly used in (PVC), polypropylene (PP), and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).

ABS is opaque and ivory-colored pellets, and its products can be colorful and have high gloss. The relative density of ABS is about 1.05G/CM3, and the water absorption rate is low. ABS has good bonding properties with other materials and is easy to print, coat and coat. General purpose grades for the manufacture of gears, bearings, handles, machine housings and components, enclosures, computers, tape recorders, televisions, telephones, etc., and toys; flame retardant grades for the manufacture of electronic components such as computer terminals, machine housings and Various household appliances and so on.

PC is a non-crystalline thermoplastic with good physical properties such as high heat resistance, good transparency, and high impact strength. Used in optical lighting, communications, medical products.

POM polyoxymethylene is a linear polymer with no side chains, high density, and high crystallinity, and has excellent comprehensive properties. High mechanical strength and rigidity, high fatigue resistance, creep resistance, anti-friction and wear, wide operating temperature (-40 ° C ~ 120 ° C), high chemical and organic alkali resistance, long-term dimensional stability, better Thermal stability and stronger alkali resistance than acetal homopolymer. It should be suitable for aviation, automotive, military equipment with the above characteristics.

Injection molding requires five major steps to complete: 1, TEMPERATURE; 2, SPEED; 3, PRESSURE; 4, POSITION; 5, TIME. By controlling the above five steps, you can create quality products. The quality of the product comes from the details.
